iPod in Education:The Potential for Language Acquisition


Reading about the use of technology in SLA, I found this interesting paper that describes how you can take advantage of the “Acquisition-Friendly” features of the iPod and includes a description of several different teaching strategies and how iPod can be used with each.   1. hi caro! i think this paper is so interesting, I know sometimes is difficult for us as teachers to use technolgy as was discussed before, but i think that you are right when you say that technology is just a tool, i share your opinion. ok honey, good job with your blog! congrats!!

  2. Education and technology are two fields which evolve frequently. Ipods, mp3´s, and many other are becoming useful learning material. I do have an mp3 and found that through it I have practiced and improved my oral proficiency.

    Your blog is a really good one, it is well oraganized, it has many things wich has relationship with technology at the moment of teaching a Second language, that's important.
    As you know technology is part of our daily life, and now it can help us in the classroom with our students, and of course help us as students.

    Good article. We use this kind of technology every day, but most of the times only for entertainment reasons. It is very interesting your idea of giving these devices a more constructive use.
